Damascus and Kameshli, Syria - Gallery II

By far the most potentially dangerous photo I've ever taken. Soon as I took it, security was all over my driver screaming at him that I took photos. Little did I know it was a BIG no-no to do so! As you can see it was a very incriminating photo that I can sell for meellions to other countries!

The dodgiest airplane ever been on - seats folded down, still had ashtrays, etc.

Never seen so many in my life! They were literally everywhere

The pipes from the "donkey's" taking the oil to the station

We actually got to where we could see the camps in Iraq

Turkish border

Local village

(Needn't say more)

Not the Four Seasons back in Damascus! lol

Shower and ... at the same time!

They did provide "Anti-Hair Fall" all in one though! It "reduces hair fall" lol

Food was sooo good here! (made up for the dodgey hotel)

Had to ask for an English menu - which proved to be very entertaining (as you'll see)

Not sure what a "Pottery" meal is.

"Shick" - I'll have a Chocolate Shick please!

"Chicken Winger" - Wings
"Nutchose" - Natchos

Mmmmm was sooo good!

Pictures do the food no justice!

"Smile, The Whole Worls Will Smile With you"

"Relax; relax , At The Class >"

Can always go to McDonald's - oh wait, that's "Master Pizz

Back to Damascus

"Taxe! Taxe!"

Local spot - very good food!

Not sure what the name of this oven or style of cooking is but it was really cool to see! The dough is placed on the walls of the oven until cooked. Sort of like pita'. VERY delicious!

Small problem - that's our vehicle!

Don't think this would fly in North America! No helmets, a child, huge load all while going 90km/h!
